This seminar intended to give an opportunity to the students with background in diverse fields like engineering, environmental sciences, agriculture, forestry & IT to apply geospatial tools in their respective fields. In emerging technology paradigm, “Geographical Information System (GIS)” has emerged as a powerful technology which has a potential to organize complex spatial environment with tabular relationships. “Remote sensing” is the art and science of making measurements of the earth using sensors on airplanes or satellites.
