The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization of Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad organized a Research Publications & Internal Project Grants 2020-21 distribution ceremony on Thursday, 26th November 2020 where 48 researchers received publications grant and 20 researchers received project grants.
The Honorable Vice Chancellor AIOU, Prof. Dr. Zia-Ul-Qayyum was chief guest of the ceremony and distributed certificates and cheques among the awardees. Executive Director (P&M), Deans, Registrar and many other honorable Heads of both academic and servicing departments were also present at the occasion.
The honorable Vice Chancellor in his address congratulated Awardees and also appreciated ORIC’s efforts for encouraging researchers through the Research Grants. He also highlighted importance of research and development in the university’s growth and development.
Speaking on the occasion, the Executive Director (P&M)/ Head ORIC Dr. M. Latif Gondal highlighted the achievements of ORIC and also shared future plans for the encouragement of academicians through different activities.
Covid-19 SOPs were strictly observed during the ceremony.
