Proficiency with statistical software packages is indispensable today for both qualitative and quantitative research in various disciplines. Working on research data is a complex and time consuming process, but various software’s can easily handle and operate information with the help of some techniques. In this regard IBM SPSS Statistics is considered as one of the most widely used computer package for statistical analysis to organize, interpret, and present the results. SPSS comes with many features and options and is used by different disciplines in Social sciences, Market research, Education research, Healthcare, Data mining, and others. Keeping in view the above state of affairs, the Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) organized one day workshop on “Discovering Research using SPSS” on Thursday the 29th August, 2019 at Academic Complex, AIOU.
